The ES game of skate in Fredrick MD went down nice.. Our friend Matt Ray got 2nd in the competition, and some kid name Spencer took the 1st place lead. Winners of the games of skate won’t be posted for a while so..

The Explosions in the Sky EP is up on the website for FREE. Download the tunes fast, I think they will be taking them down soon. The tracks are titled Day One - Day Eight on the “Rescue Ep (2005). The CD is not sold in stores.. so get on this.
Mars Volta’s New Album “Amputechture” is set for release on August 22nd. It is abut 76 minutes in length, and divided between 8 tracks. John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) will be providing support for the CD, and Mars Volta will be on the Red Hot Chili Peppers Tour starting on August 11. Read more about it here.

Panic! put on a show of a lifetime. Not only did they perform better live, but they also covered 2 songs. One being “Karma Police” by Radiohead and the other being “Tonight Tonight” by Smashing Pumpkins. And for those people that don’t really care for P!atd, they played some instrumentals that would have blown anybody away. I’ve seen Panic! play 3 times, and they are definately improving each time.
The Hush Sound was also really good, they have incredible vocals, and they were pretty much dead on for everything. Now I’m gonna go play Metroid Prime, so I’ll post some more stuff later.
